Academic Support

Enrichment Programs Office provides enriched learning experiences for UConn students, encouraging them to elevate their studies through The Honors Program, Individualized & Interdisciplinary Studies Program, Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships, Office of Undergraduate Research, Pre-Medical/Dental and Pre-Law Centers, and University Scholars.

The Center for Career Development is located in student services, room 1.17. CCD provides assistance with career preparation at any stage in one’s process. Students can receive a resume critique, conduct a practice interview, and learn about various internship opportunities through The Center for Career Development

 

UConn Stamford’s Writing Center located within the UConn Stamford Tutoring Center in Room 1.60. Is staffed with experienced peer tutors who can help students with their writing
assignments at any stage of the process, from brainstorming to final revisions.

The Stamford Tutoring Center is located on the 1st floor of The Jeremy Richard Library, Room 1.60. The Tutoring Center (Writing and Q Center) offers tutoring in Writing, Psychology, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Math courses, Physics, and other subjects.

The Stamford Campus Library Room 1.60 offers study space, workstations, study rooms, and quiet areas and is the home of the Tutoring Center.

Center for Students with Disabilities provides information about available accommodations and the process to register for accommodations. Students requiring classroom accommodations should meet with our campus coordinator to discuss options.

Student Resources

The Stamford Student Lounge is located on the 2nd floor of the main campus building. You’ll find comfortable seating where you can relax or do work. There is also a facility to use the printer or a microwave to heat up food.

The Stamford Game Room is located by the registrar/bursar office. It offers a sociable space for students to relax between classes with billiards tables, video games, and board games.

Mental Health Resources at regional campus's provides students with information and assists in accessing community mental health resources in your area to help you be a successful student and a happy healthy person.

Husky Harvest is the campus food pantry accessible to anyone with a UConn ID. Students may browse during operational hours
