Academic Support

Academic Achievement Center provides students a personal network of support at the university through holistic support services and
academic counseling at the Waterbury Campus

The Career Development Office located in student services, room 228. Our team is dedicated to supporting students at every stage of
the career development and decision-making process. This includes exploring career interests, identifying opportunities, and
implementing an action plan. It is never too early or too late to connect with us.

The Writing Center is located on the 2nd floor of library, Room 227G, offers both In-person and online tutoring to assist students with writing assignments, organize ideas, develop thesis, and work of professional development

The Tutoring Center is offered in the Library room 227A/B or online. Appointments are on a "drop-in" basis. Tutoring in many first- year STEM courses such as Biology, Cell Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Psychology.

The Waterbury Campus Library at UConn Waterbury serves research needs of the students and faculty. The library offers study space, work stations, consultations, workshops, and the home of the Writing Center.

Student Resources

The Waterbury Student Lounge is located on the first floor of the main campus building. You’ll find comfortable seating where you can relax, watch televisions, play video games or hang out with friends before and after classes.

Mental Health Resources at regional campus's provides students with information and assists in accessing community mental health resources in your area to help you be a successful student and a happy healthy person.

Husky Harvest is the campus food pantry accessible to anyone with a UConn ID. Students may browse during operational hours

Authorize parking in the following UConn locations:

  • Stamford: 1194 Washington Boulevard
  • Waterbury: UConn Waterbury Garage (student parking sections)
  • Storrs: the commuter sections of "C," "K," and "W" surface lots
